Fabrizio Romano has shared more information on when Liverpool could announce a new signing this transfer window.
It’s been an unusually quiet market for top Premier League sides this summer, with only a handful of major moves yet to be made as Manchester United, Aston Villa and Newcastle United the biggest spenders so far.
As for Liverpool, the Reds are yet to make any first-team signings despite losing Thiago Alcantara, Joel Matip and Adrian, who all left Anfield at the end of their contracts, leaving some notable voids in the first-team squad.
Yet Liverpool fans now have a time frame on when one new addition could be made.

Liverpool to announce Rio Ngumoha signing in the next four weeks
Romano took to Twitter to confirm that Liverpool could make the signing of Rio Ngumoha official within the next four weeks, with the 15-year-old set to join the Reds from Chelsea’s academy this summer.
Romano posted: “More on Rio Ngumoha’s move to Liverpool exclusive story. 2008 born talent has already agreed to the move after he left Chelsea, as revealed. Rio’s registration is currently going through PL 5 step investigation process which could take up to 4 weeks, then will be official.”

Hailed as an ‘exceptional’ talent, Liverpool have been on an impressive recruitment drive in the last 12 months as the Reds continue to add to their growing array of youth prospects, with the Reds now having some of the best youngsters in the country.
And in adding Ngumoha, Liverpool’s future only becomes that more exciting, with Arne Slot potentially having the best team in England in the future if the Reds can nurture this new generation to its maximum potential.

Liverpool can’t let this next generation go to waste
With Liverpool already having an astounding amount of talent on their books, it would be something of a miracle if the Reds were able to waste the next generation of players given the sheer volume of prospects the Anfield side have.
And in signing Ngumoha, Liverpool have yet another incredible youngster making the move to Merseyside to forge a career for himself, where the England youth international will want to make an impact.
Indeed, the Reds have a golden ticket to the top on their hands, and it’s now up to the coaches and the players themselves to unlock their potential and to hit the top of the English game in the years to come.
