It was all smiles for Jurgen Klopp and Alexis Mac Allister in Prague on Wednesday evening. Having just jetted in from Liverpool the pair arrived directly at Sparta Prague’s facilities to participate in a press conference for local and travelling media.

Liverpool’s tip to Sparta Prague promises to be an exciting encounter. There is an important fixture looming over our heads on Sunday. However, Klopp and his men will go about their business professionally. They know there is a job to be done tonight first.

In Sparta, Liverpool will face a stern test. The team is set-up to play nice attacking football. They advanced from their Europa League group past La Liga side, Real Betis. They are also currently the league leaders in the Czech top-flight, above rivals, Slavia Prague. In the Czech league they have also scored the most goals and conceded the fewest out of anyone in the league.

Rousing the Kop was in attendance at the press conference, and will be covering the game live from Prague.

Alexis Mac Allister on Dominik Szoboszlai

One of the first questions Alexis Mac Allister was asked about was his teammate, Dominik Szoboszlai. The pair practically arrived at Anfield around the same time last summer. Together they’ve both completely transformed Liverpool’s midfield.

Mac Allister was quick to come to the Hungarian’s praise. He reminded fans not to forget about him and described Szoboszlai as a ‘special guy.’

“He’s doing very well. As you say, he had an injury, but we cannot forget what he brings to the team. He’s definitely as important as every player in this team. And yeah, a special guy,” Mac Allister said.

It’s nice to see Mac Allister speaking highly of his fellow teammate. But most importantly, it’s great to see Dominik Szoboszlai back in the Liverpool squad. It’s been a frustrating time for the Hungarian, with Szoboszlai determined to play. However, he has been held back by the medical staff, in order to prevent him from aggravating a niggle he picked up after coming back to the side from injury last month.

He is now in the squad to face Sparta Prague tonight. Although it is expected he will not be starting the game. He should however feature at some point.
