Danny Murphy has said Diogo Jota was the game-changer for Liverpool in their 2-0 FA Cup win against Arsenal.
The Reds secured passage to the next round of football’s oldest competition with a surprise victory over the Gunners, who dominated the majority of the match at the Emirates Stadium.
Despite all the chances, a Jakub Kiwior own goal and a late Luis Diaz strike saw Liverpool secure the win in north London, showing their credentials yet again against a Premier League rival.

And speaking on BBC Sport’s coverage of the match, Murphy was full of praise for Jota, who came on as a second-half substitute to change the game completely for Liverpool.
The pundit said when asked about how Liverpool managed to come away with a 2-0 win against Arsenal at the Emirates: “I think the changes made a difference.
“Diaz went to the left, Gakpo went to the right, and then the two substitutes, especially Jota, added a bit of calmness in the final third, and Arsenal didn’t have the same dominance afterwards.”
Diogo Jota was key to Liverpool’s big win vs. Arsenal

Since arriving at Liverpool for £41m, Jota has given Arsenal nightmares, with the Portuguese international proving to be quite a threat against the Gunners.
And today proved no different for the former Wolves man, with Jota changing the game for Liverpool and playing a big role in Diaz’s winning strike at the death.
Indeed, Jota is slowly returning to his best after an injury-hit season, and the Liverpool man will want to start adding goals to his game after going quiet in front of goal in recent months.
