Wataru Endo has issued a message on Twitter to Liverpool fans after the Reds’ 1-1 draw against Premier League leaders Arsenal last night.

The Japanese international was once again named in Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI as Endo put in a solid performance against Mikel Arteta’s side, who head into Christmas Day top of the English standings.

And this morning, Endo has now posted a message on Twitter to supporters thanking them for their support ahead of what is likely to be an exciting 2024 for Liverpool.

Signed this summer for £16m, the former VfB Stuttgart captain has had an interesting career already at Anfield despite only playing a handful of games for Liverpool.

Endo’s performances have ranged from the fantastic to the disastrous, with last night’s thankfully falling into the former category against the Premier League leaders.

And heading into 2024, Endo will want to further his reputation with Liverpool supporters, who are now starting to warm towards the former Bundesliga midfielder.

Endo’s start to life at Liverpool was hard to watch at times, yet the Japanese international is now showing why the Reds made the decision to sign the midfielder.

The former Stuttgart man has brought leadership and defensive stability to Liverpool’s midfield, with Endo showing against Arsenal he can succeed against the best England has to offer.

Whilst there are some kinks in Endo’s game that need ironing out, the midfielder is starting to prove why he has a future at Liverpool and that he can be a reliable servant for Klopp.
