Jurgen Klopp is reportedly thinking about playing Darwin Nunez in a new position to bid to help the Liverpool attacker’s struggling form.
The Uruguay international has been out of sorts in recent weeks, with the 24-year-old striker going well over a month without a goal for the Reds.
As a result, some changes could be made to the Liverpool frontline, with Nunez potentially set for a positional change that could help get the best out of the attacker.

According to journalist Neil Jones, there has been some suggestions that Nunez could replace Luis Diaz out on the left, even if Klopp is working on moulding the striker into being the lead man in the attack.
Jones said: “There have been some suggestions that, with Diaz also struggling, Klopp may move him to the left in a bid to stretch the game and try something different.
“But much of Liverpool’s work with Nunez has been about moulding him into a line-leading Premier League centre-forward, so it would represent a bit of a shift now.”
Positional change could help Darwin Nunez at Liverpool

Whilst Nunez is clearly a natural striker, that’s not to say the forward hasn’t been used as a wide-player, with stats from Transfermarkt showing that the Uruguayan has played out on the left before.
And with the striker struggling for form, a shift out onto the wing and allowing Cody Gakpo or Diogo Jota to lead the attack could be a good decision for Liverpool.
Indeed, Nunez needs to get his form back if he is to become the world-class centre-forward every Liverpool fan knows the South American can become.
And a move out left could help Nunez, with more freedom down the wing something that could help the forward greatly in capturing his form again in a Liverpool shirt.
