Arsenal are reportedly assessing if Jorginho will be fit enough to face Liverpool this weekend in what will be a mammoth Premier League clash.
The Italian international didn’t feature for the Gunners on Sunday in their 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion, which sent Arsenal to the top of the standings.
And according to the Evening Standard, the north London side are now keeping tabs on Jorginho’s fitness, with the £12m signing from Chelsea a potential doubt for Arsenal heading to Liverpool.

Lauded by TNT Sports pundit Lucy Ward as ‘brilliant’, Jorginho has impressed when given a chance this season to feature for Arsenal in both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
And the midfielder missing this weekend’s clash against Liverpool could be a major blow for Arsenal, who know that they’ll have to win if they’re to keep their title bid alive.
As for the Reds, seeing Jorginho absent from Saturday’s fixture will be a small boost for Jurgen Klopp’s side, who themselves are running low on fit players who can play in midfield.
Liverpool could have a huge chance against Arsenal if Jorginho is injured

Whilst Arsenal have seemingly struck gold with a midfield three of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard, having Jorginho out will be a blow for the Gunners.
And for Liverpool, the Italian missing out could give the Reds a good chance at returning to winning ways at Anfield against one of their Premier League title rivals.
Indeed, Jorginho has been impressive for Arsenal this season, and losing that option in the squad could be massively beneficial for Liverpool in their bid to win all three points on Saturday.
