Liverpool are reportedly ready to make an opening bid to sign OGC Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old France international has enjoyed a sensational season yet again with the Ligue 1 side, with a 2024 departure now seemingly on the cards for Thuram at Nice.
And after a summer of rumours, Liverpool are once again in the headlines for the youngster, with Jurgen Klopp keen to sign another midfielder having already brought in four during the previous transfer window.

Now, according to CalcioMercatoWeb, Liverpool are ready to make a €50m (£45m) offer to sign Thuram, with Inter Milan ruling themselves out of the race for the midfielder.
Indeed, with Liverpool being as interested as they are in Thuram, this deal could be a massive one for the Reds in the years to come.
And winning the race for the 22-year-old in January could be perfect for supporters, with Liverpool in need of an athletic and physical midfielder in the form of Thuram next month.
Liverpool need to sign Khephren Thuram in January

Labelled as ‘fantastic’ by former coach Didier Digard, there’s a lot to love when it comes to Thuram’s style of play and what he can bring to a club.
And for Liverpool, the Reds must do all they can to bring the Nice star to Anfield in the January transfer window, even for a price as high as £45m.
With injuries starting to take their toll, added depth in the midfield in the form of Thuram could be exactly what Liverpool need to keep their Premier League title dream alive.
And Thuram himself seems keen on a move, with Liverpool a noticeable upgrade on Nice with Jurgen Klopp’s side dreaming of huge success this season.
