Manchester City attacker Jack Grealish has given his verdict on Liverpool after this weekend’s Premier League results.
The Reds overtook Arsenal at the top of the standings after the Anfield side’s dramatic 2-1 win against Crystal Palace, with the Gunners falling 1-0 to Aston Villa.
With Manchester City beating Luton Town coupled with Tottenham’s win against Newcastle United, there’s a potential five-way battle for the Premier League going into 2024.

And speaking to Sky Sports, Grealish has now given his verdict on Liverpool and the rest of the top-flight clubs now all gunning for the Premier League title.
The England international said: “I think a lot of people like to talk about City and go on like it’s a big crisis whereas in reality, we have played against very good teams. We have played Spurs, who have been unbelievable. Liverpool who are top of the league.
“And then we have played Chelsea and Aston Villa away, who have got one of the best home records in the whole of Europe so we have played brilliant teams. We lost one and drew three, so it’s not the end of the world but people like to pretend it is sometimes.”
Jack Grealish should be worried about Liverpool this season

Whilst the likes of Villa and Tottenham are likely to fall off eventually in the title race, City’s real threat this season for their English crown is of course going to be Arsenal and Liverpool.
Having already lost to Mikel Arteta’s side and being held at home by the Reds, this season promises to deliver us a Premier League title battle for the ages.
And for Grealish, the City forward should be worried about what Liverpool can do, with the Anfield side having a strong history of going up against Pep Guardiola’s side.
