The 21-year-old attacker made history for the Reds as the Egyptian winger achieved a historic goal tally for Liverpool whilst also helping the Anfield side to a big win in the Premier League.

And speaking to the Mirror, Alisson was full of praise for Salah, who this season has been one of Liverpool’s most consistent and important players.

The Brazilian international said: “Mo is an amazing player. He’s so important for us and he is always happy when he breaks records and his own records.

“He’s a guy who goes for everything that he can achieve. So consistent and always performing well and even when he’s not, he’s scoring anyway. He’s that kind of guy to make the difference like he did today.”

All signs point to Liverpool heading into 2024 top of the Premier League, with the Reds now on their way to becoming their brilliant best under Jurgen Klopp.

And the Anfield side can thank Alisson and Salah for such a turnaround, with the pair easily Liverpool’s best players this calendar year.

The Brazilian international is arguably the best goalkeeper currently in world football, with Salah playing some of his best football ever since making the move to Merseyside in 2017.

Indeed, the duo have been influential in Liverpool’s success over the past few years, and there’s a good chance that Alisson and Salah can do something special once again this season in the Premier League.
