Dominik Szoboszlai has lauded Caoimhin Kelleher after the Liverpool goalkeeper’s performance last night against Sheffield United.
The 25-year-old shot-stopper was again between the sticks for the Reds as Jurgen Klopp’s side came away from Bramall Lane with a comfortable 2-0 win.
Having failed to impress on Sunday against Fulham, Kelleher needed the clean sheet and a good performance last night, with the Irish international impressing against Sheffield United.

And speaking to Liverpool’s official website, Szoboszlai was impressed with Kelleher’s performance, with the Hungarian international signalling out the goalkeeper for praise.
Szoboszlai said on Liverpool’s defensive performance: “Very well done from Caoimhin [Kelleher] and also from the back four as well and probably from the whole team.
“We are attacking together, defending together and we are fighting together – so this shows how much we want it.”
Caoimhin Kelleher needed to impress for Liverpool vs Sheffield United

If there was any Liverpool player who needed a confidence boost last night against Sheffield United, it was Kelleher between the sticks for the Reds.
The Republic of Ireland star looked shaky on Sunday against Fulham, yet Kelleher last night looked to have shaken off most of these nerves at Bramall Lane.
With Sheffield United’s ground one of the most intimidating in the Premier League, Kelleher did well to live up to the pressure and put in a good shift for the Reds.
And heading into Saturday, Kelleher will want to keep this good form going against Crystal Palace, where three points could be massive for the Reds.
