Roy Keane has now delivered his verdict on whether Liverpool can start to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.
The Reds enjoyed a dramatic weekend in the Premier League as the Anfield side scored two late goals to secure a 4-3 win against Fulham, taking Liverpool up to second in the standings.
With City falling to a late draw to Tottenham, Jurgen Klopp’s side have not been in as strong a position as they are now for the Premier League title in quite some time.

And speaking on Sky Sports, Keane has admitted that Liverpool could now be firmly in the mix for the Premier League title, alongside current leaders Arsenal.
The former Manchester United captain said when asked on who will win the title: “I wouldn’t bet against City but if you asked me two or three months ago, I would be City all day.
“Now I’m starting to be doubtful about them winning the title. There is a reason it hasn’t been won four years in a row. I’m certainly looking at Arsenal and Liverpool.”
Liverpool need to believe they can win the Premier League

Having come from behind in dramatic circumstances this weekend, Liverpool should be believing that they can challenge for the Premier League title this season.
Arsenal are clearly not going away anytime soon, with the Gunners once again keeping their top-spot status intact with another win at the Emirates Stadium on the weekend.
Yet for Liverpool, the fragility of the Gunners and their bottle job from last year could still be playing on their minds, which could give the Reds an advantage in the title race.
And with Keane now lumping Liverpool in the title race, the Anfield side need to start acting on their credentials, especially with City yet to hit their best form this season.
