Jurgen Klopp has hailed Wataru Endo’s performance for Liverpool today in their incredible 4-3 win against Fulham.
The Japanese midfielder kickstarted the win as Endo scored his first goal for Liverpool in the 87th minute, with Trent Alexander-Arnold securing the win just 60 seconds later with his second of the game.
Making just two starts in the Premier League this season, Liverpool fans are yet to really see Endo having joined from VfB Stuttgart in the summer to replace the leadership void left in the midfield.

However, today could now be the making of Endo at Liverpool, with the 30-year-old’s cameo from the bench leading Klopp’s side on the path to victory.
Indeed, Endo has needed a moment of magic ever since joining Liverpool this summer, and today’s wonderful strike against Fulham have delivered just that for the Reds midfielder.
Moreover, Liverpool’s German manager was very pleased with what he saw from the Japanese international, with Klopp via the Liverpool Echo: “Wataru was so important. He was really good.”

The former Bundesliga star has had a rough time at Anfield since signing this summer, and the midfielder needed something to prove to everyone that he was worth the money.
And Endo managed just that today, with the Japanese international’s fine goal pushing Liverpool towards three huge points when all looked lost just mere seconds beforehand.
Heading into the festive period, Liverpool will want to see more from Endo, and the midfielder can deliver just that in the upcoming games.
