Paul Merson has now given his prediction ahead of Liverpool’s fixture against Fulham this weekend in the Premier League.

The Reds will want to return to winning ways after drawing with Manchester City last Saturday, with Liverpool just two points off Arsenal at the top of the table.

With the likes of Alisson Becker now out injured, it could be a hard test for Liverpool on Sunday, however, Merson has now said the Reds should beat Fulham with ease on Merseyside via Sports Keeda.

Merson said when asked to give his prediction for Liverpool’s Premier League clash against Fulham this weekend: “I don’t see anything but a Liverpool win here.

“It was a great result for them last weekend against City. To go behind and then come back to draw the game towards the end against the reigning champions could provide a massive boost to their morale.

“I see Liverpool winning this very comfortably. The Cottagers are not going to enjoy much luck against the Reds at Anfield.”

Liverpool are back to their best when it comes to playing at home this season, with the Reds winning every Premier League game at Anfield this campaign, conceding just two goals.

And this weekend against Fulham should see Jurgen Klopp’s side maintain that winning record, with the Cottagers having an underwhelming season compared to last year’s results.

Whilst Liverpool will have some key players out injured, it shouldn’t be enough to stop the Reds from getting all three points against Fulham as well as another clean sheet.

Indeed, Liverpool are firmly in the hunt for the Premier League title, and a win this weekend coupled with some favourable results could put the Anfield side back on top of the standings.
