Fulham are reportedly confident they’re now going to sign Andre Trindade, with Liverpool strongly linked with a move for the Fluminense midfielder.
The Brazilian international has been heavily rumoured with a move to Anfield for quite some time, with Andre linked with Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
However, as we approach January, it’s Fulham who have emerged as the new favourites to sign the £34m-rated midfielder, and the Cottagers are now closing in on a deal for Andre.

According to TeamTalk, the west London side are fully confident that they will secure Andre’s signature, with Fulham hopeful there now won’t be any late twists in securing the youngster’s signature.
Given how intense links to Liverpool were for Andre, the midfielder heading to Fulham will be viewed by many as quite the surprise in the January window.
However, it is now seemingly clear that the Reds have moved on from the Brazilian youngster, with Liverpool likely to target other midfielders in the winter market.
Liverpool could soon regret letting Fulham sign Andre Trindade

Andre at one point looked destined to join Liverpool in January, yet Fulham have shattered any expectation of this transfer actually happening in the new year.
Whilst the Reds might have good reason to not move for the midfielder, there could soon be a situation where Liverpool will regret not signing Andre ahead of his planned move to Fulham.
Indeed, Jurgen Klopp needs a central midfielder in January if he is to keep up with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City in the Premier League title race.
And missing out on Andre to a club like Fulham could come back to haunt Liverpool, who might have been the perfect club for the Fluminense superstar in 2024.
