Jeremie Frimpong is reportedly set to leave Bayer Leverkusen in 2024, with Liverpool linked with a move for the Bundesliga defender.
The right-back has been in sensational form for Xabi Alonso’s side this season, with Frimpong raking up an incredible six goals and seven assists in all competitions this campaign.
As a result, interest is now emerging for Frimpong, with Liverpool one of the clubs keen on signing the Dutch international heading into 2024, with the defender having a release clause worth €40m (£35m).

And now, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the former Celtic wonderkid is keen on leaving Leverkusen next year, with the 22-year-old fullback seemingly eager for a new challenge in football.
Indeed, with Trent Alexander-Arnold slowly morphing into a central midfielder, Frimpong could be an ideal right-back for Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp continues to evolve the squad.
And with the youngster now keen on leaving Leverkusen, how is the time for Liverpool to pounce for Frimpong, who could be exceptional in the Premier League.
Jeremie Frimpong could be the fullback of Liverpool’s dreams

Whilst Alexander-Arnold has revolutionised what it means to be a right-back, a change in personal in the position could do Liverpool a lot of good with the 25-year-old likely to become a central midfielder.
And Frimpong could be the man for the job, with the defender putting up some rather extraordinary numbers this season for Leverkusen under Alonso.
The Dutch international is still young and seemingly keen to move to the Premier League, with Frimpong once on Manchester City’s books as a youngster.
And with Liverpool in the market, the Dutchman could be ideal for the Reds, especially if Frimpong has a release clause just worth £35m heading into 2024.
