Wataru Endo has lauded Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah as a ‘very special’ player behind the scenes in training.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the Japanese international was full of praise for the Egyptian international, with Salah proving once again to be one of Liverpool’s most important players this season.
The winger has already bagged 12 goals and four assists in all competitions for the Reds, with Salah again elevating his game to a whole new level under Jurgen Klopp.

And since joining Liverpool, Endo has been seriously impressed with what he has seen from Salah, who is now entering the realm of the supernatural with his performances.
Endo said when asked about what it’s like playing alongside Salah: “I am so happy to have Mo as a teammate. He’s a very special player and is also a very kind person.
“He trains a lot and he will do everything to score. He can look like he is not playing well and then the next chance he will score. He has confidence and trains with the same mentality.”
Endo praise shows just how important Salah still is for Liverpool

Whilst Endo’s start to life at Liverpool hasn’t been as smooth as many would have predicted, the midfielder’s praise for Salah is a testament to how good the attacker still is.
The winger has evolved his game greatly this season to become as efficient as he ever has been for Liverpool, with Salah’s creative output also hitting new levels.
If this is to be the forward’s last year at Anfield, it could be one to remember if Salah can stay fit and keep Liverpool in the Premier League title race, alongside Manchester City and Arsenal.
And for Endo, playing alongside Salah must feel like a dream, with the forward easily one of the best players on the planet and a talent that anybody will want to learn from in training.
