Robbie Fowler has claimed that Jurgen Klopp has already chosen Roberto De Zerbi as his successor at Liverpool.
Speaking to the Mirror, the Anfield legend made the assumption that the Brighton & Hove Albion man might have already been selected by Klopp to replace him at Liverpool one day.
Fowler said about De Zerbi taking the Liverpool job: “He’s so rated by Klopp, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Liverpool manager saw him as a natural successor.”

The Italian manager has been nothing short of a revelation at Brighton since taking the job last year, leading the Seagulls to Europe for the first time in their history whilst playing outstanding football.
And Liverpool as a next step would make sense for De Zerbi, whose style of football has often been compared to Klopp’s even before moving to the Premier League.
Whilst it’s unknown if the German himself is sold on De Zerbi replacing him at Anfield, the move would be a sensible one, and Liverpool fans would back the appointment if it was to happen.
De Zerbi replacing Klopp at Liverpool would be fitting

De Zerbi has been a breath of fresh air in the Premier League since joining Brighton last year, and Liverpool would be a natural next step for the Italian manager.
The Reds have become accustomed to a certain style of play under Klopp since his appointment in 2015, and De Zerbi would be an evolution from this philosophy heading into the future.
Moreover, the Brighton boss might relish in the chance of taking over Liverpool, with De Zerbi not afraid to take on a big challenge if needed.
