AC Milan reportedly fear that Liverpool will beat them to the signing of Assan Ouedraogo, who is expected to leave Schalke 04 in 2024.
According to CalcioMercato, the Reds are one of two sides the Rossoneri view as real threats for the teenager’s signature, with Bayern Munich the other club in for Ouedraogo.
A record-breaker as Schalke’s youngest-ever player and youngest-ever goalscorer, Ouedraogo is one of Europe’s most sought-after teenagers, with the race for the midfielder now beginning to heat up.

And for Liverpool, it appears that they are real players in the battle for Ouedraogo, who could be tempted by a move to Anfield with Jurgen Klopp at the helm.
However, Milan and Bayern’s interest will come as a problem for the Reds, even if the prospect of regular playing time might be more attainable for Ouedraogo at Liverpool.
Indeed, the teenager has a massive decision to make next year, and Liverpool will want to make themselves the most appealing club possible for Ouedraogo when the time comes to leave Schalke.
Liverpool could be ideal for Ouedraogo in 2024

Ouedraogo is on course to have a sensational career based off early signs with Schalke, and Liverpool have to ensure that they’re the side who win the race for the youngster’s signature.
The teenager has his pick of any club in Europe at this stage, and given what’s happened with the likes of Harvey Elliott at Liverpool, Anfield is a dream for Ouedraogo.
Moreover, a deal would be easy for the Reds to complete, with Liverpool having the finances needed to beat the likes of Bayern and Milan to Ouedraogo in 2024.
