Liverpool reportedly sent representatives to the Copa Libertadores final this weekend to watch Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindande.
According to Ge Globo, the Reds had officials in attendance at the Maracana as the Brazilian side made history with a 2-1 win against Boca Juniors, with Andre starring on the night.
Lauded by Fabrizio Romano as a ‘very talented’ player, the £34m-rated midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks.

Yet with the January transfer window fast approaching and Andre now completing his mission with Fluminense in winning the Copa Libertadores, a transfer could soon be arranged.
Indeed, Liverpool are clearly big fans of Andre having sent scouts to this weekend’s showpiece event in the South American football calendar.
And based off the midfielder’s performance, it perhaps won’t be a surprise if Liverpool were to soon launch an official move to sign Andre ahead of the winter market.
Liverpool must do all they can to sign Andre in January

Andre is clearly ready for a move to Europe in January, and with Liverpool as interested as they are in the midfielder, the Reds must do all they can to secure the youngster’s signature.
The 22-year-old has shown this year that he is an exciting prospect having led to Fluminense to the Copa Libertadores for the first time in their entire history.
And with Liverpool scouts in attendance for the historic result, work must begin now if the Anfield side are to secure Andre ahead of rival clubs, who could now begin sniffing around.
