Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Real Betis teenager Assane Diao, with Chelsea and Newcastle also believed to be interested.
According to Mucho Deporte, the 18-year-old winger is attracting strong interest from the Premier League, with Liverpool now one of the three sides monitoring Diao.
Breaking into Betis’ first-team this season, Diao has impressed this campaign, with the report saying that fans have been left ‘dazzled’ by the attacker’s performances.

A Spanish youth international, Diao has been one of the breakout stars in La Liga this season, and Liverpool are now looking to bring the winger to England.
Indeed, such a transfer won’t be cheap, though, with Diao’s release clause currently standing at €30m (£25m), with Betis hoping to increase this figure with a new contract later this year.
As a result, Liverpool will have to get a move on if they’re to bring Diao to the Premier League, with time slowly running out for the Reds to sign the youngster at a good rate.
Diao could be a potential Salah successor for Liverpool

At 18, Diao has the entire world at his feet, with the youngster on course to become one of the most exciting prospects in all of Spain and beyond in Europe.
And for Liverpool, the winger, who can play on both flanks, could be a potential successor to Mohamed Salah, who is due to leave Anfield at the end of this season.
Whilst it would be a risk, there’s no denying Diao’s potential, and Liverpool could be an ideal next destination for the attacker in 2024 if the Reds can secure a deal fast enough.
