Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Piotr Zielinski, who has long been linked with a move to Anfield throughout his career.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Reds are in the queue for the Polish international, with West Ham another Premier League club who are interested in signing the 30-year-old midfielder.
Lauded by agent Gianluca Di Carlo as a ‘strong’ player, the Napoli star’s representative recently said that Liverpool were close to signing Zielinski in 2021.

However, as we now know, a transfer never happened, though there is now a chance that Zielinski could be heading to Anfield next year as a free-agent, with the midfielder’s contract due to expire this summer.
Indeed, midfield is a position Liverpool can do with adding to in 2024, especially when a player like Zielinski is now potentially in the market.
However, for what Liverpool actually need in a signing, someone like Zielinski might be the last thing the Anfield side if they’re to take their midfield to the next level.
The boat might have now sailed for Liverpool for Zielinski

Zielinski has been linked with Liverpool for what feels like forever, yet the time could now have passed for the Reds to bring the midfielder to Anfield.
At 30, Zielinski is at the peak of his powers and ready to take on a new challenge in his career, yet Liverpool might not be the answer for the Polish international.
As we know, the Reds want to get younger and more dynamic, and Zielinski won’t offer that to the Premier League giants despite how highly rated he seemingly is by the Merseyside club.
