Dominik Szoboszlai can’t believe £34m player is now his Liverpool teammate

Dominik Szoboszlai has praised Mohamed Salah’s quality after the midfielder’s move to Liverpool this summer.

Speaking to Match of the Day, the Hungarian international highlighted the £34m winger when asked about Liverpool’s attacking quality, with the Reds having some of the best options in all of Europe.

Szoboszlai has become something of a cult hero already at Liverpool since joining the club this summer from RB Leipzig, with Salah benefiting massively from the midfielder’s arrival.

The 23-year-old has been a revelation for Liverpool already this season, and Szoboszlai himself seemingly can’t believe that Salah is now his teammate at Anfield.

Indeed, Szoboszlai has taken his game to a new level at Liverpool, and playing with the likes of Salah is clearly having a massive effect on the youngster’s development.

The midfielder said: “It’s crazy. When I came, the first days were like ‘am I playing PlayStation?’ It was great to know them and how they are, and to play with them is even better.”

Liverpool’s right-hand side of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Szoboszlai and Salah is arguably the best the Premier League has to offer, and the duo are quickly becoming something special.

Szoboszlai’s physicality and creative qualities are a dream with Salah ahead of him, and the Hungarian international is now starting to fully click with the Liverpool winger.

Whilst this might be their only year together, things have been magical between Salah and Szoboszlai, and the pair will want to create something special this season at Anfield.
