Taking to Twitter, the former Anfield hero lauded the 24-year-old after Nunez’s stunning strike from distance booked Liverpool’s place in the quarter-finals of the League Cup.
With seven goals and five assists in all competitions this season, Nunez is enjoying his best run of form yet since joining Liverpool from Benfica last year.
And it is clear that Jurgen Klopp has now got the forward performing at his best, with more expected to come from the South American star in the coming months.
Indeed, Nunez is one of the most enjoyable players in the Premier League, and fans will hope that Garcia’s prediction on the striker comes true this season.
