Pep Lijnders has said Ryan Gravenberch has impressed him greatly since arriving from Liverpool this summer from Bayern Munich.
Speaking to the press, the Dutch coach lauded his fellow countryman when asked about the 21-year-old’s recent form, with Gravenberch making a good case for himself to become a regular starter.
The midfielder joined from Bayern on deadline day and has since looked like a quality addition to Liverpool’s squad, an impressive feat given that the youngster hardly played last season for Bayern.

Indeed, few knew how Gravenberch was going to adapt to Liverpool, yet the midfielder has impressed, and Lijnders is quite a big fan of the 21-year-old already.
Lijnders said: “I’m not sure what happened at Bayern. He comes here, with full trust, then we knew with training, good conversations, showing the idea with the clarity of the whole group that we have a special player.
“His vision, his touch, Ryan has everything to be an eight like that, he arrives, shoots and has a mentality to score. Thank you scouting and I like it when the squad is a bit more orange.”
Gravenberch is looking like a bargain for Liverpool already

Gravenberch has been linked with a move to Liverpool ever since he broke through at Ajax. And now, aged 21, the Reds’ pursuit for the midfielder looks totally justified.
The Dutchman has slotted in perfectly for Liverpool and has looked like the complete package, with Gravenberch impressing on Sunday against Nottingham Forest.
At such a young age, the best is yet to come for Gravenberch, and Liverpool can feel proud with themselves for pushing hard to sign the youngster this summer.
