Tony Cascarino has urged Liverpool to move for Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Writing for the Times, the pundit suggested that the 24-year-old Cameroon international could be a smart signing for Liverpool if Salah is to leave next year.
Mbeumo has been in sensational form for Brentford this season, and Cascarino has now tipped the Reds to make a move for the winger as a replacement for Salah.

Cascarino said on Liverpool’s quest to replace Salah: “If Mohamed Salah ever leaves Liverpool, the club should go and buy Bryan Mbeumo as his replacement.
“At only 24, his best years are ahead of him and he has all the attributes to succeed at a club of Liverpool’s stature: he is versatile, durable and counterattacks with real ferocity.
“He has increased his goal output, with nine in the Premier League last season and six in only ten appearances this year, including the tap-in to an empty net that wrapped up Brentford’s 2-0 win away to Chelsea.”
Mbeumo would be a smart Salah replacement for Liverpool

With six goals and two assists already this season in the Premier League, Mbeumo has enjoyed quite the year already for the west London side.
And for Liverpool, Mbeumo could be a dream replacement for Salah, with the forward still quite young and already an established Premier League winger.
Although Brentford might want a premium for Mbeumo, Liverpool might be willing to take the risk on the winger, who could slot in nicely at Anfield in 2024.
