Gary Neville named Liverpool as a well-run Premier League club after Manchester United’s latest Premier League defeat.
Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast straight after the Red Devils’ 3-0 loss to Manchester City, the pundit name-checked the Reds as one of six top sides in the Premier League who are ran well.
Whilst many Liverpool fans would argue that FSG have done more harm than good over the years, when compared to the Glazers at United, it’s hard to not see Neville’s point of view.

Indeed, the Manchester giants are still yet to be sold amid ongoing takeover rumours, and Neville now thinks Liverpool are as well-ran than most top sides in the Premier League.
Neville said: “There is a cultural thread of negativity and toxicity that runs right through this club that isn’t going away – Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Villa and Brighton.
“They are all pretty well run now. They are well-run clubs from top to bottom. Manchester United aren’t a well-run football club. And the owners are the problem.”
Neville’s Liverpool comment is overexaggerated but true

Liverpool’s owners are far from the best in the Premier League, with many fans aware that FSG can be doing more to help fund the club through their own finances.
However, when compared to the Glazers at United, it’s night and day over which club owner has done more over the years, with FSG making mostly correct decisions.
With Liverpool also not burning through nearly £1bn in the last ten years on transfer fees, it’s easy to see where Neville’s comment has come from, though exaggerated it certainly is.
