Garth Crooks has praised Mohamed Salah’s performance for Liverpool against Nottingham Forest this weekend.
Writing for BBC Sport, the pundit lauded the Egyptian international’s display at Anfield as Salah capped off Liverpool’s 3-0 win against Forest with the final goal of the match.
In doing so, Salah made history, becoming only the third Liverpool player ever to score in each of the club’s opening five home league games of a season.
Indeed, Salah is at the top of his game and again making opponents look like kids in a park, and Crooks was full of praise dor the winger’s display in the Premier League.
Crooks said about Salah’s fantastic performance for Liverpool this weekend against Forest at Anfield: “This was another super display by Salah.
“He seemed to be involved in every phase of play and anything that seemed remotely meaningful against a Nottingham Forest side who actually showed some grit. Liverpool, or should I say Salah, were far too good.”
Salah has never been as good for Liverpool as he is now
Salah is arguably Liverpool’s best-ever player in the Premier League era, and it’s hard to debate that the winger isn’t as good as he currently is now for the Reds.
The forward has delivered in virtually every game this season for Jurgen Klopp’s side in some way or another, and Salah’s consistency is keeping the winger at a world-class level.
Age has done wonders to Salah, and the Egyptian winger is playing the best football he ever has since making the move to Liverpool six years ago.
