Diogo Jota has said Liverpool now feel like a completely different team after the changes made by the club this summer.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the Portuguese international said that the Reds are essentially a new side after a series of drastic decisions that were pulled off in the off-season.
The entire midfield has been overhauled as Jurgen Klopp’s side made four signings in the position, three of who started today against Nottingham Forest.

With the attack also operating in a new way, Liverpool can certainly be viewed as a team transformed, and Jota seems to hint that the changes have been a good decision.
Jota said: “A different Liverpool, like the manager has been saying as well, it’s like 2.0. Different players, different system, different way to play.
“We are just trying to do our best and things are working well for us. As long as that happens, everyone will be happy.”
Jota has been key to Liverpool 2.0’s construction

Jota has once again been at his brilliant goalscoring best for Liverpool this season, and the forward himself has become a key part of Klopp’s rebirth of the Reds.
Everybody knew that the club needed a shake-up, with the midfield in need of new faces and fresh legs, something Liverpool delivered and then some in the summer.
And the fluid attack has been key to Liverpool’s resurrection, with Jota playing a key role in keeping the forward-line ticking in both the Premier League and in cup competitions.
