Liverpool midfielders Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch were the best players on the pitch tonight.
The Reds beat Toulouse 5-1 in a Europa League game which was decidedly trickier than the scoreline suggests.
There were good performances all over the pitch, with five different scorers for the Reds. But according to TNT Sports commentator Rachel Brown-Finnish, Endo and Gravenberch were the picks, with the Dutchman perhaps just shading it.
“Yeah, the midfield, Gravenberch” said Brown-Finnis, after being asked for a Man of the Match.
“Endo played 90 minutes and impressed from the first minute to the ninetieth. Gravenberch has been that spark though hasn’t he.”
He certainly was. Goal aside, the 21-year-old had a brilliant day at the office.
Endo impresses, but Gravenberch takes the cake
It was an emphatic result for Liverpool this evening, but the win wasn’t at all straightforward for large parts.
Having got themselves into an early lead, the Reds perhaps relaxed a little bit too much.
Toulouse then hit them on the break, and looked mightily confident that they could get a shock result at Anfield.
There were numerous hairy moments for Liverpool, who left themselves far too open at times.

But amid all of that, there were two players who stood up throughout their time on the pitch.
As the sitter, £16m Endo had a relatively big job on his hands at Anfield. Disjointed and inexperienced together, the Liverpool midfield needed some protection. The Japanese gave it to them.
In a great moment, Endo also bagged his first Reds goal, leaping to head home the all-important go-ahead goal. A top performance.
And as for Gravenberch, well, he’s just getting better and better. A driving, relentless display from midfield. Exciting times to come with the 21-year-old in the team.
