Jarrod Bowen has praised Mohamed Salah amid reports that Liverpool are interested in signing the West Ham attacker.

Speaking to TNT Sports, the £60m-rated forward lauded the Anfield superstar’s ability to score in an instant when the balls comes to him in the penalty box.

Bowen said: “I think Salah’s the best at it and obviously Haaland, too. They’re always positioning themselves where they think they’re going to score a goal.”

With eight goals already this season, Salah has not dropped off at all since returning to England via AS Roma, and the winger’s influence is clear for all to see.

Indeed, few wingers in Premier League history can come close to Salah’s goalscoring record, and for the likes of Bowen, the Liverpool star has become a real inspiration.

Moreover, the West Ham forward linked with a move to Liverpool, it would be poetic to see Bowen one day replace Salah at Anfield, the very player who has been key in the 26-year-old’s development.

Replacing Salah is one of the biggest tasks Liverpool will have to undertake next year, and Bowen could now be thinking he could replace the winger at Anfield.

As we know, the West Ham star seems to get better with each passing season in the Premier League, and a move to Liverpool seems suitable for Bowen at this stage in his career.

Whilst the transfer would be expensive, the England international has all the tools needed to shine on Merseyside, with Bowen an ideal replacement for Salah.
