Indeed, it’s no real surprise why Liverpool are keen on signing Musiala, and Owen is seemingly a big fan of the former England youth international.

Owen said: “I think he is exceptional, really exceptional. It’s such a shame he chose Germany over England! I thought he was brilliant in the last major tournament (2022 FIFA World Cup).

“There’s lots of people comparing him to Bellingham but I think he is a different type of player. He’s a brilliant runner with the ball. I think he’s unbelievable when it comes to dribbling. He’s got the lot this lad.”

Musiala is without question a golden talent and one that might not come around for a few more years, which is why Liverpool must do all they can to sign the German star.

The youngster is still yet to hit his peak, and with transfer interest high, Liverpool have to ensure they’re at the front of the queue to sign Musiala when the time comes for him to leave Bayern.

Praise from Owen is always a plus, and every Liverpool fan will be aware of the challenge that awaits them in trying to sign Musiala in the years to come, though the pay off will be massive.
