Garth Crooks has criticised Luis Diaz’s antics against Everton after the Liverpool winger was accused of play-acting when fouled.
Writing for BBC Sport, the pundit slammed the Colombian international, who claimed that Diaz was dramatically reacting to fouls as Ashley Young was sent off for the Toffees.
With the 26-year-old winning the game-changing penalty, Diaz’s antics on the day played a key role in Liverpool securing all three points at Anfield.

Yet Crooks was far from pleased with what he saw from the Liverpool attacker, with the pundit critical of how Craig Pawson failed to punish Diaz for his accused diving.
Crooks said: “Referee Craig Pawson’s inability to show some discretion in the Merseyside derby exposed him once he failed to exercise any consistency.
“Neither was it helped by Luiz Diaz who rolled over at least five times for dramatic effect after Young had fouled him.”
Diaz played up to the occasion for Liverpool vs Everton

Derbies are always going to get something special out of players, and for Diaz, the Liverpool star played the occasion to a tee.
Everton were sucked in by the South American’s trickery and flailing antics, and the tricks worked in Liverpool’s favour to the best possible effect.
Everton going down to ten men and winning a penalty made it a successful day in the office for Diaz, even if the likes of Crooks are far from pleased with what they saw on the weekend.
