Former Liverpool star Boudewijn Zenden has backed Ryan Gravenberch to succeed at Anfield after moving to the Reds this summer.
Speaking to Soccer News, the pundit predicted the former Ajax wonderkid to make a name for himself on Merseyside after making the move to Liverpool from Bayern Munich on deadline day.
With Gravenberch already impressing in his first few weeks at Liverpool, it might not be long for the midfielder to become a fan favourite at Anfield, with Zenden having high hopes for the youngster.

Zenden said about Gravenberch’s move to Liverpool: “For Gravenberch I think that he will gradually start to feel better and that he will certainly be important.
“The only question is what role that will be? Is he going to play a more conservative role, one with more freedom going forward as the defensive midfielder is usually Mac Allister?
“So yeah, Gravenberch is of course a player who comes with the Ajax DNA who wants to shift and appear in spaces.”
