Former Hibernian striker Tam McManus has urged Steve Clark to name Ben Doak in Scotland’s senior squad for next month’s internationals.
Speaking on PLZ Soccer, the pundit made his claim for why the 17-year-old attacker should be included in the Tartan Army’s squad for November’s fixtures against Norway and Georgia.
Scotland have already booked their ticket for Euro 2024 after results went their way this month, and Doak could now be in with a good chance of making his senior debut in November.

The winger has featured heavily for Liverpool this season in both the UEFA Europa League and the League Cup, and a first Scotland call-up feels only natural for Doak heading into next month.
And McManus is an advocate for Doak being named in the Scotland squad, with the pundit saying: “He needs to play him in the next couple of games.
“I think you need to have a look at him before the Euros. You cannot just throw him into a tournament. He’s the one player that could be a wee bit of magic for us. He could be something different.”
Doak is more than ready for senior Scotland call up

With Doak already making U-21s international football look like a walk in the park, next month could see the Liverpool sensation finally named in Scotland’s senior squad.
The attacker has shown for club and country this season that he is ready to compete at the highest level, and the final frontier Doak has to make now is playing for the Tartan Army.
With Scotland already qualified for next year’s competition, Doak being named in the squad feels like a no-brainer, and many fans will want to see the winger feature next month in the final slate of international fixtures.
