Peter Crouch has predicted Liverpool to comfortably beat Everton on Saturday in the first Merseyside Derby of the season.
Speaking to TNT Sports, the former Reds striker has tipped the Anfield side to walk away with all three points this weekend when the Toffees make the short trip across town.
Liverpool have started the season in fine fashion with Jurgen Klopp’s side sat fourth in the Premier League just three points off leaders Tottenham.

Everton, meanwhile, have once again struggled massively, with Sean Dyche’s men again set for a relegation battle at the bottom of the standings.
And to the surprise of nobody, Crouch thinks Liverpool will win against Everton, with the pundit saying: “The gap between Liverpool and Everton is very big. Even the staunchest Everton fan would admit that.
“They are at different ends of the spectrum. Liverpool had a disappointing season last season and are getting back to their best. You can’t see anything other than a Liverpool win.”
Liverpool could embarrass Everton this weekend at Anfield

It would be something of an understatement to say that Everton are in a right mess, with takeover mayhem dominating the back pages and form on the pitch as bad as it has ever been.
And for Liverpool, there has never been a better time to play their Merseyside rivals, with this weekend promising something rather special for the Reds.
Winning already feels like a guarantee for Liverpool, and the Anfield side could embarrass their city rivals if things get out of hand quickly for Klopp’s side.
