Club fear they’ll have to sell 17-year-old Liverpool target for cheap

Schalke 04 are reportedly fearing that they’ll have to sell teenage sensation Assan Ouedraogo for cheap, with Liverpool interested in the midfielder.

According to CalcioMercato, the 2. Bundesliga side are already looking to lower their original asking price for the 17-year-old from €20m (£16m) down to as little as €7m (£5m).

As per the report, a number of clubs are interested in signing Ouedraogo from Bayern Munich to RB Leipzig to AC Milan, and Liverpool are also in the conversation.

Ouedraogo is one of the most exciting prospects in Germany, and with Schalke already lowering their asking price for the midfielder, Liverpool should be taking notes.

The Reds are no strangers to signing some of the biggest and best talents from Germany, and Ouedraogo’s quality and potential will make the youngster an ideal addition.

Moreover, Schalke’s asking price of £5m could be too good for Liverpool to turn down, with Ouedraogo a prospect who could flourish in the Premier League.

Liverpool need to pounce for Ouedraogo ASAP

Interest for Ouedraogo seems to be building by the day, and for Liverpool, they need to start putting the work in for a deal as soon as possible.

The midfielder is emerging as an outstanding prospect and a good opportunity in the market for a top club to sign one of the best youngsters in all of Europe.

And Liverpool have to ensure that they are the club who sign Ouedraogo, with Anfield a perfect place for the teenager to develop his craft and to hit the next level in his career.
