Jamal Musiala has this week made history with Germany just days after the Bayern Munich star was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool.

As per iMiaSanMia, the 20-year-old youngster became the youngest player in the German national team history to reach 25 international caps, breaking striking legend Lukas Podolski’s previous record.

Sport Bild reported this week that Liverpool are interested in signing Musiala, who could leave Bayern next summer amid ongoing concerns working alongside Thomas Tuchel.

Lauded by Jurgen Klinsmann as a ‘phenomenal’ player, Musiala is no stranger to breaking records for both club and country, yet his latest accolade for Germany is notable.

Indeed, the playmaker is on course to become one of the European giants’ most important players in the years to come, and Liverpool know that signing Musiala could be huge both on and off the pitch.

Ever since snubbing England for Germany, Musiala has always seemed destined to become the nation’s new poster boy, a prospect that only ever befalls a handful of players.

And for Liverpool, signing such a name would be a massive success for the Reds, with Jurgen Klopp someone who could take Musiala to the next level.

Whilst there’s not telling if a transfer might actually happen, recent links seem to suggest that Liverpool might have a chance at signing Musiala, who could become a hero at Anfield as he now is for Germany.
