Jurgen Klopp could reportedly rest Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister in Liverpool’s Merseyside Derby clash against Everton.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Anfield boss could opt to start the South American trio on the bench for Saturday’s massive Premier League clash.

The three players all played last night for their respective nations in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, and due to travel, the trio will only have time for one training session at Kirkby.

With Mac Allister a starter in midfield and Nunez coming off a productive international break with Uruguay, Klopp could be making a potential risk by benching the three first-teamers.

However, given the amount of depth Liverpool now have in the squad, especially in the attack, the Reds could afford to rest the trio against Everton.
