Fabrizio Romano has stated that Andre Trindade is keen to leave Fluminense in 2024, with Liverpool interested in the midfielder.
Writing for the Daily Briefing, the Italian journalist revealed that the 22-year-old is eager to depart the Brazilian side next year after a breakout 2023 with the club.
Andre was this summer strongly linked with a move to Liverpool, though Fluminense’s participation in the Copa Libertadores ruled out any hope of a summer move.

Yet January is now starting to look like a window where Andre could make the leap to Europe, with Liverpool a potential destination.
Romano said: “I think he (Andre) could have a chance to move in 2024, but we will see what happens in terms of negotiation with Fluminense.
“It won’t be easy as they are always strong in negotiations. But Andre is absolutely ready for the next step. He’s very talented, and has a great mentality.”
Liverpool have to secure Andre’s signature in 2024

Andre making the move to Europe in 2024 is perhaps no real surprise, and for Liverpool, the Reds need to ensure that they are the ones who win the race for the midfielder.
The Brazilian is one of the most exciting prospects coming out of Brazil, and with Liverpool in need of more numbers in midfield, the 22-year-old is an ideal signing.
Moreover, Fluminense’s demands could be well-suited to Liverpool, who are good at getting bargains from the negotiation table.
