Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar has visited Fluminese amid reports that the Gunners are interested in Liverpool-linked midfielder Andre Trindade.
As reported by Football London, the Brazilian transfer guru has returned to his homeland over the international break meeting a number of clubs, including Fluminese.
Reports broke over the weekend that the Gunners were interested in signing Andre, who this summer was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool.

Valued at £34m, the 22-year-old is expected to leave Brazil in January with the Premier League likely to be Andre’s next destination.
And Arsenal could now be the favourites for the midfielder, a move that could come across as a hammer blow for Liverpool and their winter plans.
The Reds are expected to move for another midfielder in the new year, and Arsenal’s interest in Andre could be a problem for Liverpool in their quest to make a marquee signing in January.
Arsenal’s interest in Liverpool-linked Andre seems legit

Arsenal, much like Liverpool, are likely to spend in the midfield position in January, with Andre seemingly emerging as a top target for the Gunners.
At 22, the midfielder is one of the best in his position in South America, and the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool could now do battle for the youngster in the winter.
And with Edu already in Brazil meeting with Fluminense, the north London side could have a considerable advantage already for the midfielder, who could be keen on a move to Arsenal over Liverpool.
