Don Hutchinson has suggested that Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai has been the Premier League player of the season so far this campaign.
Speaking on ESPN, the pundit claimed that the 22-year-old has been a game-changer for the Reds, with Szoboszlai starring for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The Hungarian international was signed from RB Leipzig in a £60m deal this summer, and Szoboszlai’s transition to the Premier League has been seamless.

And Hutchinson is clearly a big fan, with the pundit saying about the Liverpool star: “Dominik Szoboszlai, in my opinion, is just a Rolls-Royce of a player.
“I’d seen him quite a few times when he was playing for Hungary and playing in the Bundesliga.
“And I knew how good he was, but to come into this Liverpool team in a team that’s had quite a few red cards already and still standing out, for me, I think he’s player of the season.”
Szoboszlai could be Liverpool’s player of the year already

With the season just two months old, suggesting that Szoboszlai could already be Liverpool’s player for the campaign seems a bit pre-mature.
However, there’s no denying that the midfielder has been a revelation for the Reds, and another player beating Szoboszlai to the prize could be a tough one.
Whilst the likes of Alisson Becker and Mohamed Salah have been sensational, Szoboszlai has added something differing to Liverpool’s squad, and the Anfield side look transformed by the midfielder.
