‘I admire’: Cesc Fabregas says he is a huge fan of £300k-a-week Liverpool man

Cesc Fabregas has expressed his admiration and respect for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.

The legendary midfielder, who played for Arsenal and Chelsea during his time in English football, stated that he admires Jurgen Klopp.

The World Cup winner with Spain pointed towards how Liverpool are able to ‘renovate’ and refresh their club ‘every two or three years’, as he told Premier League Productions (08/10/23 at 1:45 pm). 

Well, that refreshment and big change is right underway because this is Liverpool 2.0 on display to all. 

After the likes of Roberto Firmino, Gini Wijnaldum, Sadio Mane, Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Fabinho and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, to name a few, won the lot on Merseyside, it’s now time for the new crop to step up.

Whilst it’s still early days for this new-look Liverpool side, Fabregas thinks that they are ‘achieving new levels’.

“What I admire about Klopp and Liverpool as a club is that they seem to have this capacity to renovate every two or three years,” said Fabregas. “And they do that really well.

“Some clubs they struggle to. Once your Salah’s, Mane and Firmino go. They renovate and get fresh players, young players, to give them the same impact that they did. It’s not easy at all.

“I think they are achieving new levels as well and it’s great to see because that’s work from the coach and the club. I like to see that because it shows that the club is well-structured. They work together and have a clear identity of what they want to do, and they do it really well.”

Liverpool Premier League title

At a minimum, the aim is to get back with the elite and playing in the Champions League next season, but of course, the fans are dreaming of more.

With Klopp in the dugout and an attack that can match anyone in the Premier League, then a title charge is on – Michael Owen certainly thinks so after Arsenal’s win over Manchester City.

Plus, it needs to be remembered that Liverpool’s £300k-a-week man (PlanetFootball) in the dugout was the last manager to dethrone the all-dominant Pep Guardiola and Manchester City from their throne, so why not again?!
