Liverpool fans reportedly loved Dominik Szoboszlai pumping up the away support in the final moments of the Reds’ clashed against Tottenham.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Hungarian international was seen alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold working up Liverpool’s away fans when Wataru Endo won a late free-kick.

The £60m summer signing has emerged as a quick fan favourite at Liverpool after a sensational start to life at Anfield, and Szoboszlai’s antics late on against Tottenham will only add to his growing legend.

With Liverpool robbed of points due to VAR, Szoboszlai and the supporters who travelled to London on Saturday will be fuming with the outcome.

Indeed, the Reds could have easily returned to Merseyside with a win had Luis Diaz’s opener been correctly given by the officials.

Yet what is done is done, and Szoboszlai jeering up the Liverpool crowd is a good sign for what’s to come from the 22-year-old in the weeks to come.

Szoboszlai is on course to become a modern-day Liverpool hero

Szoboszlai might have been a Liverpool player for just a few weeks, but the youngster has so far done every right in putting in the groundwork in becoming a club icon.

The midfielder has transformed Liverpool’s squad in every possible way, and the best is still yet to come from Szoboszlai in his career at Anfield.

Last night’s performance was a disappointment, yet Szoboszlai will for sure use the game as fuel to inspire his next few matches for the Reds.
