Chris Sutton has claimed that Liverpool can challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title due to their attacking options.
Speaking on the It’s All Coming Up Podcast, the pundit detailed how Jurgen Klopp’s forward players could be the main difference between Liverpool competing with City of not for the title.
Sutton said: “You mention the other forwards that Liverpool have and that’s why in my opinion they are the biggest challengers to Manchester City. They have a brilliant array of different types of attackers.”

A good argument could be made that Liverpool have the best-attacking collective in the entire Premier League, with Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota and Ben Doak all considered backup options for the Reds.
Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah have been Klopp’s most used starting-three in the league this season, and to say Liverpool’s options are impressive would be an understatement.
And for Sutton, Liverpool’s attacking players are the main reason why the pundit thinks the Reds could challenge City all the way for the Premier League title.
Liverpool’s forwards are perfect for a title run

Liverpool’s attacking options are quite outstanding, with the January arrival of Gakpo a move that has led the Reds to this moment in time.
The Anfield side have easily the best attacking collective in all of England and potentially beyond, and a title run is more than possible for Liverpool this season.
If the defence can stay healthy, there’s no telling how far Liverpool can go this season, with the title more than possible, especially with their current attackers.
