Former Leeds United coach Rene Maric has lauded Dominik Szoboszlai’s technique, with the Liverpool midfielder impressing for the Reds this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, the Austrian coach, who worked with Szoboszlai at RB Salzburg, lauded his former player, who has emerged as one of Liverpool’s best signings this summer.
The Reds paid £60m to bring Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig to Liverpool, and the deal is already looking like one of the best transfers from a Premier League club this year.

Aged just 22, Szoboszlai is very much at the start of his footballing career, and Muric has praised the midfielder’s abilities on the ball since joining Liverpool.
Maric said: “He can keep your ball ticking, your ball retention, your circulation, because of his ability to turn away from pressure and still find a good pass.
“He is someone who wants to get on the ball, who has that mentality that he can solve problems.”
Szoboszlai is on course to become a superstar for Liverpool

Liverpool knew what they were getting themselves into when Szoboszlai was signed this summer, yet few fans would have predicted the youngster to be this good for the Reds.
The Hungarian international has transformed Liverpool’s midfield into a functioning piece of art, and Szoboszlai’s performances and abilities on the ball have been key to this change.
At 22, Szoboszlai is only getting started at Liverpool, and the midfielder has what it takes to become a superstar for the Anfield side in the years to come.
