Jurgen Klopp has named Liverpool’s starting XI to face West Ham, with Joe Gomez again starting at right-back ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Reds confirmed on their official Twitter account the side that will take on the Irons at Anfield today, with Klopp making wholesale changes to the XI that beat LASK on Thursday night.

Gomez starts vs West Ham as Liverpool captain Van Dijk returns to Premier League action
Lauded as ‘world-class’ by 90min, many Liverpool fans will be pleased to see Van Dijk back in the starting XI to face West Ham in the Premier League.
The defender had missed the last two games after picking up a red card against Newcastle United, with Van Dijk starting alongside Joel Matip in central defence.
With Alexander-Arnold again not fit enough to make the bench, Gomez starts at right-back, with the defender hopefully eager to impress again for the Reds.
Klopp will want to maintain winning streak this afternoon
Liverpool have been one of the best sides in the Premier League this season, and Klopp will want the Reds to maintain their winning run against West Ham.
David Moyes’ side have also impressed in domestic action this campaign, though, and a good case can be made that the east London side will give Liverpool their hardest test this season.
Indeed, Liverpool know they have what it takes to beat West Ham at Anfield, and another three points will be key in the Reds extending their unbeaten run in the Premier League.
