Adam Lallana has claimed that Brighton & Hove Albion’s mentality is as strong as Liverpool’s, where the midfielder won the Premier League title.
Speaking to the Telegraph, the 35-year-old player was full of praise for the culture that’s been built at the Seagulls, with Roberto De Zerbi’s side currently flying in the Premier League.
Lallana is viewed as Brighton as one of the experienced heads at the club, with the former Liverpool star taking on a leadership role at the south coast.

And the veteran has now made the claim that Brighton’s dressing room culture and mentality is as strong as the one Lallana experienced at Liverpool, which won the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
Lallana said: “The culture is so strong that it runs itself, that dressing room. There are so many invested in it. The dressing room is easily as strong as the Liverpool dressing room and Milly (Milner) will back that up.
“I am not sure he would have survived in the dressing room I came into three years ago because of the standards and the level he operates at and what he expects.”
Brighton have some way to go before they’re at Liverpool’s level

There’s no denying that Brighton are one of the best ran clubs in all of England, with the Seagulls planning every decision with detail and precision that’s hard to match in the Premier League.
Yet whilst the quality is there, De Zerbi’s side are still some way off from equalling Liverpool, though Brighton are firmly on the right track.
And Lallana’s experience has been key, with the former Anfield star carving a good role for himself at the Amex Stadium and becoming an important figure for Brighton over the last three years.
