‘Outstanding’: Pundit says £37m Liverpool player has been an absolute game-changer this season

Liverpool have made a great start to the season this year and at the moment do look like they can challenge Manchester City.

The Reds have made some big signings and they’ve settled in well, with the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister impressing a lot.

However, according to Clinton Morrison, it is the return of Luis Diaz that is having a huge impact on proceedings right now.

Speaking to Premier League Productions on Optus Sport, Morrison addressed a number of players and talking points this season.

And getting onto Liverpool, Morrison was quick to praise Diaz following his return to injury.

“The one thing I know in that game is that Diaz came off the bench and he changed the game. Him and Nunez, but in particular Diaz. Diaz has been like a new signing for Liverpool with the injury he had last season, and outstanding player, a top, top player,” Morrison said.

Diaz is one of a number of fine attacking talents Liverpool at their disposal right now.

The big decision for Jurgen Klopp at the moment is just who he picks to start games when he has such talent available.

Each of Liverpool’s attacking players bring something different to the table. But with Luis Diaz, he very much brings the sort of speed and explosiveness that Mo Salah can offer.

Diaz has been exceptional since he signed for Liverpool and at around £37m, looks an absolute steal.

Morrison is right here. Diaz is a top ,player and if the Reds are to win something this year, then the Colombian winger will be crucial.
