Thierry Henry has laughed off Liverpool ever signing Jude Bellingham after the Reds missed out on the England international this summer.
Speaking on CBS Sports, the Premier League legend shot down Jamie Carragher’s idea that Bellingham would one day want to experience the Premier League with a club like Liverpool.
Henry said in response to Carragher’s claim that Bellingham wants to play for the six-time UEFA Champions League winners: “He is playing for a team that has won 14, so that’s a tough one, that’s big.”
Signed by Madrid this summer for £89m, Bellingham has been a revelation for Los Blancos since joining, with the midfielder scoring the winning goal for the Spanish giants last night against Union Berlin.
Indeed, Bellingham heading to Liverpool could well happen in the future given how young the midfielder is, but Madrid letting go of the England international currently feels impossible, even in ten years time.
Liverpool will need a miracle to sign Bellingham

Nobody could have predicted Bellingham to take to life with Madrid as well as he has, with the midfielder scoring six goals in all competitions already for Los Blancos.
And as a result, the odds of Liverpool ever signing Bellingham feel next to zero, with Madrid unlikely to let go of their new superstar midfielder anytime soon.
Moreover, Liverpool’s spending this summer hints towards a move away from Bellingham, with plans to sign the midfielder scrapped earlier in the year.
