Jurgen Klopp has praised Mohamed Salah’s performance against Wolves this weekend despite the Liverpool star having a poor first half.
Speaking to the press via Liverpool World, the German coach lauded the 31-year-old attacker for stepping up after the restart having endured a difficult first half.
The winger claimed a vital assist for Andy Robertson as Liverpool came from 1-0 down in the first 45 to win 3-1 against Wolves, with Salah at his world-class best in the second half.

The result maintained Liverpool’s unbeaten run in the Premier League and kept the Reds within two points of Manchester City and the top of the table.
And Klopp was seriously impressed with Salah’s second-half performance, with the Liverpool boss saying about the £34m player: “He is unbelievable, he is involved in everything.

“First half wasn’t great, obviously, but, then again a different system, and he is a key-moment player, definitely. He is always there when we need him. Like everybody, really stepped up in the second half.”
Klopp will want to see Salah at his best next weekend for Liverpool

Salah changed the dynamic for Liverpool in the second half for Wolves as the winger was at his best in what could be a crucial three points for the Reds this season.
And heading into next weekend’s clash against West Ham, Klopp will want Salah at his best for the entire match, with the forward starting to hit his groove this campaign.
The Premier League season might just be five games old, but Salah hitting full speed already could be massive in Liverpool challenging for the title, something a few pundits have already written off.
